Close management for small accounting teams
Who prepared it, who reviewed it, what it was waiting on, and how long the whole thing took, all in one place.
Preparer & reviewer sign-offs
Every item has a preparer and a reviewer, each signing off in turn. Turn on “every item needs review” to require a reviewer sign-off across the whole checklist.
Dependencies
Mark what has to be finished first. Choose whether an open dependency shows a warning or hard-blocks the item.
Business-day targets
Set due dates as BD1, BD2, BD3, where BD1 is the first business day after month-end. Weekends and US holidays are built in, and you can add your own company holidays.
Recurring cadence
Mark items monthly, quarterly, annual or one-time. Each new close carries forward the right items automatically.
Comments & @mentions
Discuss an item where the work lives. @mention a teammate and they’re notified in-app and by email.
Attachments
Keep support on the item it backs up. Attach PDF, Excel and CSV files.
Close-time analytics
Average close time, month-over-month comparison, and a progress-vs-target chart for the close in flight.
Excel import & export
Bring your existing checklist in from Excel, or start from our template. Export back to Excel any time.
